Emblem ?

Emblem ? Corny topic, I know, but bear with me..
I've noticed that some CTS-V's have the "CTS" emblem on the right side of the deck lid and others don't. Mine doesn't. What years did they have them? Also, I heard somewhere that '06 was the first year they put the "GM" emblem on the sides..which mine doesn't have either. I'm assuming the previous owner took them off, or is it possible I have an early '06 that managed to not recieve them?
Any help's appreciated.

Have you checked to see if the car had ever been in an accident? They would have removed all or some of the emblems if they had done any body work! Thats what happened to mine! I had Crest put them on but they only put the V emblems back on! No CTS emblems here... lol

Have you checked to see if the car had ever been in an accident? They would have removed all or some of the emblems if they had done any body work! Thats what happened to mine! I had Crest put them on but they only put the V emblems back on! No CTS emblems here... lol
and they are looking at an 
American Car.
