Hard to tell from pics but looks like thats just a finishing? I'm not sure but I can't imagine someone making a box from plastic and it sounding good.

There is also the JL Audio enclosure that is like the one I make that has a fiberglass backing and an mdf front face. Similar but not the same as mine. These offer about the same amount of airspace volume as the Vantage enclosures did but the MTX enclosure is smaller in internal volume.
MDF enclosures and the MTX generally have about .4-.65ft^3 of airspace volume and my enclosure along with the JL has about .7-.8 or around that.

That's the JL Audio Vantage stealth enclosure. They are no longer made and if you can grab one I would. They sound very good. It is made of plastic.

They do make plastic one's but the wood one's sound much better. I just ordered a wood Stealth box off ebay for one 10" sub. It was only 89 dollars. It can in yesterday i am going to install this weekend. I trial fitted it last night and it seems to fit well.

Hey Kee do you know if the HiFi sound connection stealth boxes off ebay are good boxes. Mainly just wanna know if they are correct on the airspace they listed. They say there boxes are .75 cubic feet but then the mounting depth is only 8" where as subthump boxes are .60 cubic feet but the mounting depth is 9". so i wonder how the HiFi sound connection box can have more cubic feet of air space when its got a 1" less of air space. Thx and oh by the way im buying an amp rack off you after u answer my email i sent to your website just still deciding on the on where to get my stealth.

Those EBay ones are made out of only 5/8 MDF.
