Default New Spring Detail Pics!

Well the weather is finally breaking here in Oklahoma and since everybody else is whoring theirs out I took some pics of the ole SS. Spent 2 evenings detailing it out. Still not perfect but then I wouldn't want to drive it. Used Pinnacle XMT swirl remover 2 & 1, followed by XMT glaze, followed by NXT sealant and a local detail stores wax. What do you guys think?

Yeah it isn't real aggressive. I probably should've gotten the intermidate swirl remover kit instead of the light. But it is good enough for now. Yeah I want to lower it back down. It was until I had SLP LTs, but now with the LPP I think I could lower the front with no problems. Just not in the budget. Getting a new cam first.

looks good. I'm ready to get mine out but we haven't really had any rain so even though the snow is mostly gone, the roads are still covered in salt which is the whole reason i keep it off the roads in the winter in the first place.

I want to real bad! Just a little afraid that the passenger side might not match. Car was in accident and Pass. side was repainted and I can't remember if they removed the molding to paint or not. Do you think it will match ok? Probably would look good enough huh. I plan on getting some new emblems so I might take the plunge when I do those.

Car looks nice and I thought silver was supposed to hide swirls and stuff.

My pewter ws6 hardly shows anything.. all i do is wash/detailing spray/meguiars cleaner wax

Gotta love metallic.. haha

How many miles are on it?

Actually it does hide the swirls pretty well. ha ha. The detail just really brightened up the paint more than anything I guess. I didn't realize that it was dulling so much.

Man you guys are really making me want to lower the car back down but I just got through rebuilding the whole front end this winter and I really don't feel like tearing back into. But I might have to some time this summer. Thanks for the compliments guys.

Car has 123K on it.

I didn't think about how that read, so I changed. I guess it was misleading! Ha Ha!

Car looks great, I really like the Pinnacle polishes. I usually use 3 and finish with 1. They aren't very aggressive, which I like, but they also seem to have some kind of oil in the polish kind of like a glaze. The residue also removes really easy. I am just been really pleased with the pinnacle stuff I have, it's good stuff. I'll have to keep my eye out for your car around town.

Thanks! I am pretty pleased with the Pinnacle stuff to. It is very easy to work with and really hard to screw something up. Actually I don't see how you could screw it up and not be able to fix easily. I really liked the glaze. It really makes the color deep like a jewel. It really did a number on my dad's black Silverado.
