Default clutch issues!!?

ok so my 96 ws6 had an empty resorviur so i added fluid but it still doesnt wanna go in gear its MCcloud stage 1. Anyone can tell me how to bleed the air out of the line hopefully that fixes the problem? oh yea and the pedal feels very lighter than normal when i push the pedal down? sorry for the mispelled words lol

fill the reservor to the full line then pump the clutch a few times then check to see if the level goes down. repeat until the reservor stays full. thats how i blead mine when i blew my slave cylinder apart.

That's not how to bleed an LT1 clutch. Fill it up, remove the slave cylinder from the tranny housing. Using your hand, push the pin in and out. As you push in, you'll feel air bubbles and crap being blown through. Keep doing it until you don't feel any of that stuff anymore.

Ok so I can do it alone or do I need someone to push the clutch in!? By pushing the pin in and out that is what it is doing?

it helps if you have a buddy to help. get under the car and remove the slave cylinder, then push the rod in with your had and release it. repeat until you dont feel any air bubbles passing through the slave cylinder. your buddy will keep putting brake fluid to keep the reservor from running out.

Yes, if you suck in air, all that work you did was for nothing. I usually did it by myself. I'd pump 2 times, then fill the cylinder, 2 times and then fill the cylinder.

No, if you have fluid coming through the boot, the cylinder is bad. Go to oriellys and buy a new slave cylinder. I think they're about $60 or so.
