ok, tell me if i am wrong, but i keep reading about two different cc503's, one with "276/281, Lift .503/.510," and one with "224/230, .537/.544"

That's the same cam. 276/281 is the advertised duration, whereas 224/230 is the duration at .050", which is what is generally used when discussing duration. The lift of .503/.510 is with 1.5 rockers, .537/.544 is with 1.6 rockers.

I have patriot extreme race springs which are .660 lift. They come with titanium retainers and locks and seats. not a bad price. I know alot of people use the beehives and other brands. Its all up to what you want.

Have you gotten hardened pushrods yet??

I went to Terry Manton for PR...quick turn-around, and a great product.

Any 5/16" SBC pushrods will work, hardened of course. Comp makes a million of them. Once you have the cam installed you'll need to measure using a pushrod length checker tool, then order them up.
