Haven't been on the forums for a long time(since the MS3 was first introduced) and haven't looked too much at cams. Now looking into getting some Dart 225's and a larger cam(more on the aggressive side), wondering what I should be looking at. Also in the past I have considered the T-rex....so throw any info about what you would go with and why(cam and heads will be done at the same time).

Also, future mods to be considered do involve forced induction, more likely supercharger or wet nitrous.

I went with the TSP Tsunami! It's in between the MS3 and MS4, does not require fly cut, but I'm not sure how it would handle boost or Nitrous as I am gonna stay N/A until I build a 370 or a 402,408!! Good luck with your choice!

How much a nitrous shot are you looking at also are you going to DD drive your vehicle and what is your opinion of drive ability. Really what it comes down to is what you are comfortable with. i would also consider a custom cam a little more expensive but build for your exact needs. When it comes to nitrous you have to make sure that all engines will need the correct matching dcr for those overlap figures to correctly scavage the cylinders in the rpm ranges that apply to each engines use range. Also if its a street driven I would not use a stick with nothing lower than a 112 LSA and nitrous. That's my own personal opinion though.

Hmmmm. If you plan on forced induction then do a 180° turn away from the big N/A cams like the Trex/Tsunami/MS3/MS4. You can spray just about any of those cams with stellar results considering they are pretty much all defined as a "nitrous grind" being a traditional split with a bigger exhaust duration. If you plan on supercharging I would tailor your cam towards that. You ARE NOT going to want something like the above mentioned for a supercharger.

Check with TSP or EPS on the FI cams that they can have ground for you.

Don't know about that usually an off the shelf cam will run you between 350-400 every custom ground cam that i have ordered have not been less than 450, and what I say a little i mean 50-100 more. The last cam Ed ground out for me was $500.

My custom grind from TSP was $389. Just gave them them the Comp lobe #'s and had it in a week or so......

Then that is why....

Thunder/EPS/TSP and several others all cost the same. Only difference is you have to wait a little longer to have it ground.
