y are u running a tr6 if your not running n2o run a tr55. if your running the bottle then run a tr6 and even then only to a 150 shot after that a br6ef is what you'll need. if its straight n/a tr55 is what you need period.

NGK recommends one heat range reduction for every 100 hp added. I have the setup in my signature and am running TR6 plugs with the gap as provided from the box. If you want a larger gap, the 2nd number (TR55 for example) provides the larger gap. In other words the only difference between TR5 and TR55 is the provided gap.

I am running them straight from the box and it runs great. I have had them out several times and they are clean and appear to be functioning properly.

11.9:1 here running the tr6 gapped at .035...also tick has done back to back dyno tests and this gap with the same plug gave the highest hp...

a straight tr55 is not cold enough when you start upping the compression...

485rwhp though a locked a4 here...

Guess my answer was a little confusing because I was also trying to address the TR55 suggestion. I am running TR6 with the gap provided by NGK, which is 0.040" out of the box.
