Exclamation LT1 Not Starting. .

I've been having a rough time trying to figure out whats going on with my car. It has had trouble starting for awhile but it always fired eventually. Now it won't start at all, it just continually cranks.

-The car IS getting spark, 3 cylinders were checked, spark on all three.
-The fuel pump is working, read 45psi with a fuel pressure guage.
-The fuel injectors were also checked with a test light while cranking on the car. They are all getting power.
-Thought the problem was the PCM, so I tried another one and the problem still persists.

I am open to any suggestions, this is very frustrating.

So it is actually turning over. My first thought was the starter gear being stripped. Where did you test fuel pressure?

Yes it is turning over, in fact it sounds like 1 or 2 cylinders actually do fire but then it quickly dies. Fuel pressure was tested through the schrader valve.

Try replacing the coil. It may have spark but it might not be strong enough to start. I had this issue on mine a few years ago and learned the hard way after I spent $400 on an opti I didn't need.

It's a fairly new coil but I think I have another one lying around so I'll give it a try.

Any other suggestions are welcomed guys.

Coils have been known to give out on these. I have had an MSD blaster coil on mine for 4 years and it runs fine - might wanna check them out.

In my case, I had a brand new MSD Blaster coil and it went bad after 100 miles. Autozone warrantied it for me with another and it's been good for almost 5K miles now.
