The Ram Air has gained 2+ mph on every car tested and as much as 2.7 mph at the track. We have seen 1+ mph gains over others similar ram air kit which are heavier as well.

well there are probably 30+ cars out there that have this ram air on it and most report either back to me or speed on how happy and suprised they by the results...some are as high as 4mph like z8's 416ci and as low as 1mph gain or a ftra or ssra...

they ranged from stock cars to heads and cam...the gains are mostly made on a stock car but when you add heads or a cam the speed of the car might jump from 110mph to 120mph(so for a majority of a run a stock car is hitting the same speeds as a heads cam car, that last 10-15% is what adds a hair more of a gain to the more modified car) so if you gained 2mph bring stock you might be at 2.5mph with the heads and cam...remember these are my best estamites from what I have seen...

I would say the least I have heard of from a ftra/ssra is 1mph...

So your last question's answer should be a stock breathing car has seen at least a 2mph, not every car, good catch :)...

I've already paid for mine and am number one in on this GP. From a design standpoint it's almost impossible for this mod to not see any gains especially from the 1/8 on. I have the FTRA for many years I saw this Chris1313 kit and have no doubt even a car like mine will benefit from it.

What kinda extra mpg can I expect? I know we dont drive our cars because of the fuel ecconomy but Im trying to think of all the pros for installing this. Im really close to taking one.

When do I have to place my order by? I am almost 100% set on getting in on this but I will be in Vegas until the 27th, and I don't know if I am going to come back with any money left.

yes I can it is 15 more and 195 with the gp...give speed a call and they will put you down for one...there are pictures in the other thread of both setups...basically a ftra but 50% larger...

yeah not sure who exactly maybe speed can update later or say how many spots are open...

I am with you too I just want the mph but getting mpg too is a plus :)...especially for me driving 160 miles round trip to the track...

I installed my kit today everything fit very well. Absolutley much larger than the FTRA I removed here are some side by side profile shots. The Chris1313 is three times as wide and it will ingest small rodents. Look at the difference in track width as I noted in red just about 3 times the amount available and the scoop underneath is an air trap.
