a while back i posted a thread based on shifting problems after 3k
https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...n-problem.html
well today i was underneath the car and i am seeing the leak spreading troughout my oil pan.
its a 02 ls1 block with a built mn12 tranny
i am running the ls7 clutch kit and im plannin to drop the tranny down to see whats going on .
what clutch can i use while keeping my ls2 clutch . ?
while doing this ill be doing the drill mod and adding the shim plate for the slave cylinder

LS7 clutch in use here for over a year, very good street manners and holds up to road course conditions without a hitch.
edit: I see from your other post that you're running one also. Any reason you want to switch, or just checking the market?

Check out the RPS carbon twin disc. Carbon friction surfaces instead of organic or sintered metal.

Which is better, srung or unsprung pp. Also has anyone tried the F1 DFX clutch? The more I search the more difficult it gets to decide. The diamond clutch sounds pretty good.
I have a 02 trans am 50k miles.

Unsprung hubs are more durable, but can be obnoxious in street conditions where you're engaging and disengaging the clutch frequently.
You don't notice how nice damper springs are until you drive a car without them.
