LS7 clutch in use here for over a year, very good street manners and holds up to road course conditions without a hitch.

edit: I see from your other post that you're running one also. Any reason you want to switch, or just checking the market?

Check out the RPS carbon twin disc. Carbon friction surfaces instead of organic or sintered metal.

I've got clutch kits starting at $370 for a Stage 1, $410 Stage 2 and $450 Stage 3. Its $350 extra if you want a billet flywheel and slave cylinder included. Diamond Clutch

Im currently running the LS7 setup and I would never do it again ,its to heavy and not great for track use. +1 for diamond clutches tho.

Which is better, srung or unsprung pp. Also has anyone tried the F1 DFX clutch? The more I search the more difficult it gets to decide. The diamond clutch sounds pretty good.

I have a 02 trans am 50k miles.

Depends on your priorities.

Unsprung hubs are more durable, but can be obnoxious in street conditions where you're engaging and disengaging the clutch frequently.

You don't notice how nice damper springs are until you drive a car without them.
