Default Interesting problem, please help.

My 1994 Formula is randomly cutting out and backfires once before returning to normal. My guess it that the Opti is going. I have wiggled wires with no results. Tell me what you guys think.

Come on guys and gals, I know you have ideas here. The problem is getting worse and I am afraid I am going to get stranded.

I replaced the Opti less than 10K miles ago, along with plugs and wires. I have checked all my harness connectors and grounds to make sure they are in place properly.

It feels like someone reaches over and turns off my key, then turns it right back on. It also has to crank a bit to start sometimes.

Actually, I now remember replacing the coil when I did my Opti as it was an original coil. The tip to the coil wire was badly corroded. The car also had original shocks at 175,000 miles.

I know a guy that will scan the car for me. Onward to the next step.
