lt1 6speed wont chirp 2nd gear hard
i have a 95 lt1 6speed, i used to be able to chirp 2nd gear hard, i put new tires on about a week ago, they are Falken ZIEX tires, idk if they just grab better or what, but when trying to chirp 2nd gear now it wont do it? is it because the tires are good? or could something be messing up?

i mean if i drop the clutch it will spin the tires great, but i meant im just crusing in 1st, then punch the gas, and when i hit 2nd gear it wont chirp anymore really or it will be a baby chirp. its weird, but i mean it still hauls ***, i would check plugs and wires but the car runs great, it doesnt missfire or lose power reallly

Probably the tires then?
I went through a stage when I changed NOTHING on my car and it was like a period of 2-3 months where I couldn't chirp anything. My car used to absolutely BURN into 2nd gear on my old tires, but I couldn't hardly get a chirp out of it.
I guess my driving style changed, soon after all that I could burn em on demand.
Maybe you're just getting sloppy

probably just the new tires.
im running 275's on the back and if i punch it in 1st i get zero traction, but it wont break on a 1-2 shift because my clutch definitely slips a bit.
so it could also be that your motor is capable of breaking loose the new tires, but your clutch isnt. the added grip of the new tires exceeds the clutch's hold

How many miles are on the car? Might be time for a new clutch.
For all season tires, I've heard Ziex are pretty sticky, maybe theyre bittin really well. I know my old Kumho Ecsta tires used to bark 4th gear everytime. And that was back when all my mod's were an intake and 4.10 gears. Those tires sucked *****.

Just sounds like those particular tires aren't very noisy when you spin 'em gear to gear-- every car/tires combo is different.
If your car seems like its still got ***** and running well, I wouldn't worry about anything.
