Future plans with the car in terms of mods?
Do you race the car? If so often and are track times important to you?
I use to DD my car with the Yank SS3600. Excellent stall but an SS3200 would be the better of the two for DD duty. If you plan to stick a healthy cam in there and/or you race the car often and want maximum track benefits then I would go the SS3600. My car was always a street/strip car so the 3600 was just right but if it were 100% street definitely the 3200. If you call Yank they could make you an SS3400 you know...

i do race the car throughout the year its probably a 80% street 20% track car. i plan on dropping a procharger in it with forged bottom end. will a stall hurt gas milage much?

Since you plan on throwing a blower on, I would do some research on what works best with that blower. Like your cam and rear gears. I think a converter can be better spec'd out for you.
