LT1 Supercharger on LS1
Hello I had a person with a big truck crash into my 1995 Z28. I am sure it is a complete loss. My question is if I get a 1998 Z28 can my Vortech S-trim(loud) be retrofited to fit LS1? Or is it a different head unit. Thanks in advance Bradley

The head unit is the same. The intercooler(s) and bypass valve are probably the same as well - but some of the rest of the parts (brackets, pulleys, pipes, etc) may be different. It could be made to work in a variety of ways but all are likely going to require some fabrication and buying new parts...
If I were you I'd reuse as many of the parts as possible (especially the head unit) and build a front mount intercooler setup. Do a search for "FMIC" and you'll find tons of information. Doing this should definitely be cheaper than buying a whole supercharger kit.

That's cool your okay, you will enjoy the 98 way more! Keep us posted. I may have a vortech but, with no bracket so I am interested to see how this works out as I may have to fab my own bracket.
