Question What Cam????

Yes, im searching, reading, etc,, but still want some real life experience stuff.. and i could read the "best cam" posts for years on here... BOTTOM LINE IS I WANT A CAM THAT FITS,, BUT DELIVERS!!!!!!

I am going to install a cam, no heads yet. Springs, and what ever else is required.... right now i have comp cam PR's that are stock length, stock lifters, stock rockers, springs, etc.

Car is a Street only car, no racing,, well,,

2000 WS6 M6, 4:11's, street use, bolt ons (LT's, Catback, CA, Ported TB, Lid, Bellow, etc..)

Im wanting a mean lope, but no issues with driving, bucking, stalling,, not wanting a huge dude,, just enough to give me some nice kick thoughout the entire band,,

NO FLYCUTTING!!!!!!!!!! (im not that talented like most of you all)
And i know this is bad to say,, but my ability to do a P to V check is also pretty limited as i have never done it before,,, i know it should be checked with every cam install,, but i want a cam that will keep me on the safe side of things

Any advise you can offer is appreciated

Wayne

Most if not all drive ability concerns can be addressed through tuning. However if you are still worried about it we have the Streetsweeper High Toque which is a very good under the curve cam, that will still make good peak power.

Here is some more info on the cam:
http://www.neweraperformance.net/def...=NEPSShtCamF|0

And here is a package which includes the cam, and everything you need to install.

Thank you!

i do like the tr230,, has been on the list as a choice,, i think thats where i want to be,, a tad bit more than the 224 or 227 range,, but not much,, 230/233,, maybe a lil more,, i dunno and dont really wanna get hung up on how big or small, just that the thing is going to give me performance from start to finish with my LS6 intake,, etc,, another friend told me to check out the F14,, so looks like im doing some reading today.. if any others have a cam choice to give me,, id gladly add that to my list.

Any of these on a .600/.600 112-114LSA would be strong running cams with great usable power in the low/mid range.

226/234
226/230
227/234
228/232

Thanx!!

i should also mention that IF i do eventually change heads,, i would go with a set of mildly ported 243's from my stock 243's,, but this would be pretty far off in the future b4 it would happen,, im happy with my stock 241's for right now. as long as i can get to 400 or over with pretty close trq #'s,, id be happy.

G5X1 LG motorsports 228/232 112
futal FM6 226/230 112
nssp 232/234??
tq streetsweeper 224/228 111

anything above 230 will surge a bit now and then.... for a street car stay with a 224-228 range intake, plenty of cars laying down 400hp with 224-228 cams hell even a fti 220/224 layed down like 435hp with etp heads.. bigger is not better for the street

Yes they are a bit pricey but they get the job done. Im a cam only car running the G5X4 myself and love it. Give them a call and see what they can set you up with.

Call Geoff at EPS, tell him what you're looking to do. He'll spec you the right cam. As posted above in the links, the EPS lobes are making an *** ton of power with beehive springs. Quiet valvetrain too.
