Snap On Solus & red brick, Autoengineuity or an OTC Nemesis will read air bag codes. The Snap On red brick scanner can be had for fairly cheap on ebay. An OBD2 scanner like at auotzone will only read engine codes. Even if you could pull the codes you would need some good service info & the knowledge to find & fix the problem.

Ive got a "brick" but the cartridge only goes to 01 and this is an 02.
Maybe I can convince my buddy to let me use his black cartridge.
I have service info but would like to find out where problem is to start looking for a bad connection.I have AutoTap(wont do airbag or VATS) and a superchips Max microtuner

EFI V2
I never tried using it for that, but the other day one of my co-workers had the SES light on his 2001 Chevy pick up and when I scanned it for codes with the V2, it also showed an SRS code being present
