Default Need cam only numbers

I have to do a data analysis for business statistics, so I figured why not do cam only Ls1 vs Lt1? I would like to keep it to manual cars only as well please, just for ease of data gathering. Only cars that won't qualify would be S.R. cars, FI, or cars that are >350ci. HP/TQ is all I need. Thanks!!

I was going to say, there is something wrong with that car. I'm cam only with a Comp Xe 224, valve train, Vig 3400, 3.42's, Madz28 tune, LT's, y-pipe, etc and it goes 12.0's at 110-111. And that's on the 10 spokes in the sig with a DR. Soooooo something is not right with that car. Maybe re look the tune over a bit?

People don't seem to realize how it is in the desert. Hell we have worse weather down here at firebird than you guys. You have to wait for a SPECIAL january morning to get decent times. The coldest I've ever run at is 60 degrees. DA was still 800+'

Is there something a DA calculation does not take into consideration for a desert environment?

Is it really that hard to do some research on your own? All you need to do is go through 1 single thread....

Even before you've stabbed the wonder cam you are making excuses about elevation. Don't cry. It will be alright. Really it will. I do not make excuses, dear. Nothing about DA or track conditions, etc... It runs what it does. More importantly is whatever you do, whatever you try, it would annihilate your best effort and that bothers you, which makes me giggle.

I work 40 hours a week and take 18 credit hours, so the little free time I do have I was hoping not to have to go through a 40 page thread when 1 OP and 10 responses could have gotten me the information I am looking for. Guess not. Thanks for the help.

[QUOTE=SS RRR;13945624]Is there something a DA calculation does not take into consideration for a desert environment?

I would say so, its called heat index coming off the track....

Maybe you should bring your beast out to the desert, you would be depressed when you get your time slip!

I see. So DA does not take into consideration what surface temperatures are "coming off the track." Got it. So going to the track in the desert, not only do you have to take DA into consideration, you also have to take "coming off the track" temperatures, a bonus 700ft subtracted off DA, plus desert ionospheric, tropospheric and biospheric conditions which is good for at least 13/10th's and 12mph, amirite?

WTF step out of the box bro!

It must factor in somewhere, you seem to like to argue points just to attempt to make yourself known. Like i stated bring your 396 on out here and see it go slower than it does now.

My car for instance is a bolt on car m6 had 4.10s and full weight. my avg is 13.2@106 same set ups at sea-level w/ DA 500 to negative generally run 12.4 or a tad quicker..
