Default GTO fuel tank?
I was wondering if anyone could get me the dimensions of the factory fuel tank. Thanks.

Both if you can that would be awesome. I got a tank off eBay for $125 shipped so if you can't its no big deal though I will just post it up when I get it thanks.

Shipping weight was 55lbs when I get it I will weigh it exactly and post up the dimensions.

Ok the tank came in today.

Tank weighs 33lbs
Cover weighs 9lbs
The misc stuff 3lbs
Total 45lbs

Tank is 33"x13"15"

And for those who were wondering it won't fit in a 71 Chevelle.

when you say 'cover' are you talking about the metal cage that holds the carpet up? Jw because people have told me it weighed more like 20. If it's only 9 then i probably won't even bother removing it.

im sure he is refering to the plastic cover that seals around the tank. the metal crashbar you are talking about does weigh almost 20 lbs
