Default valve drop on TEA heads

I had a machine shop measure valve drop on my TEA 5.3 Stage 1.5 heads (62cc) and he came up with .109 on the intake, and .177 on the exhaust. Seems really short on the intake. Can this be correct?

Yep, that's what worries me! I've read that thread before. The previous owner of the heads ran a 228/230 cam and didn't have to flycut. I didn't see any signs of piston contact on the valves.

That seems really low. I'd check it again. Stock is 165/185 if memory serves me correctly.

Perhaps I heard him wrong over the phone, I'll find out for sure tomorrow. Would valve drop be pretty similar on a stock 5.3 head and a stock LS1 head?

Talked to Mike @ TEA and he said that sounded about right on the intake.
