Default LS7 Lifters?

hey guys i need to swap out my lifters and did a quick search and notice LS7's are the best bet..but remember a few years ago they were the best thing then not long after they werent now they are again? or was it something about cadi lifters? so which should i get? thanks and not sure if it matters but am going with a stock cam,a 220 or cheatR cam, and maybe doing some had work with maybe a rebuild on the block just to do it..my options are open so not sure if these will effect which lifters to go with..

thanks again,

john

My LS7s have held up pretty well. I have heard of more being wrong with the Cadi ones

LS7s are THE stock replacement lifter now. They are not the best out there, however, they will work in most street applications. I have had good success with mine.

Consider getting fresh lifter trays to go with the new lifters.

New trays are dirt cheap. Check out TSP for some new LS2 replacement trays. Definitely cheap insurance.
