Default Ebay CME

Ok we all know 6le makes the best stuff and there quality is second to none,I plan on buying my cme set up threw them.but a cme set up is not cheap,I was looking on ebay and saw a few cme tips for 165 and cheaper, has anyone bought one of these and how did it work out for you?I have seen them in a silver finish and I think those kind of look like crap, could look better on the car though,I also saw on there that they sell the cme tips in singles, they look a lil diffrent then the tips that come mounted together but could you just weld the tips together with a lil bracket, those were 60 a piece I think.the single tips look just like the cme tip but it looks like the pipes mount from behind not off to the side,I would think someone running duals under the axle could just run them straight back?

IMO just save up a bit longer to get quality parts . Dont skimp and buy junk ****
because you just "want it now" . Do it right the first time

Ok I didn't see any together ,and I m going with 6liter for mine but this was more toward someone with a tight budget that can't put out 400 something dollars for a exhaust tip, these above seem like they would work good with duals under the axle,if ya read the thread I'm not rushing to buy junk, but there are a lot of people that can't spend a ton of money on crap like this, this is to maybe get some reviews on these from people that have tried them out, trust me ss ebay headers every one thought were junk and I know a lot of people that there's have lasted and look better than pacesetter headers after 2 years

Over time those could become uneven due to the fact that they aren't welded together, and they dont look incrediably high quality to begin with. Probably more hastle than the saved money is worth.

Again I think there junk but I can't make a opinion on some product I have never seen or tested out, again you want the best 6liter makes the best, that is what I'm going with,it is worth it to me to spend more and get something that looks better and will last,I just thought if these were somewhat decent it would help someone out

Believe me I understand about tight budgets . You can still have very nice quality parts
but it will just take patience because you will just have to save a bit longer

Gotcha ! Just trying to help steer people in the right direction instead of wasting $$$ buying inferior products and being disappointed is all .

I agree with beeing more hassle, but I figure a thread on these would help someone get some info before they wasted there time and money, again ebay is most of the time crap,I have seen the welded together tips on ebay also but these were the only ones up there at the moment,

Zl1 I totally agree with you,I figure there junk and I have seen a lot of people suggest (just get a cme tip threw ebay) but there is no info on here about them,I figure some insight on them would help,I like the idea of having the pipes enter the back though,I don't like seeing the side pipes on a cme,if you could make these out of a quality metal, weld them together it would make running a cme with duals under the axle pretty easy, and you wouldn't see the pipes that go out to the side,I know a lot of people paint them ,don't you guys think that would look a lil better

I think the visibility of the pipes coming out of the sides of the CME tips is all
in the welders skills/patience/laziness . I am running the 3" Stainless ones from
6LE and they are tucked up behind the valance very well . This is a good insight
thread btw Be right back with some pics of mine for reference ....

Thanks for the kind words everyone. To be honest, you'll probably be fine with those tips at least for awhile.

I know the manufacturer and they are from China so there's definitely some bad ones that sneak through (they break off the casting) and all aren't perfect but if it isn't a show car and you're not driving on horrible roads with stiff suspension all the time (to rattle them) then you'll be fine...
