Default Gmmg or LM1 on my CME?

which one should i go with for my CME set up. I like loud cat backs by the way.

GMMG would be my choice but that's just me though.

GMMG is way better than an LM1, ive had both

I picked GMMG cause it sounds more "Throaty" than the LM1 and I prefer the "throaty sound better. But thats just me though.

Gmmg is always gonna be picked 1st,but a lm2 with cats ,and with all the extra bends I think sounds pretty good,and you can pick up a lm catback for like 140, compared to gmmg which is 550 used,if cash isn't a option that go with a gmmg,but if it is a lm2 would imo make ya happy,

I actually ordered my GMMG through the group buy in the classified section not too long ago. They might be looking to fill 1 or 2 more spots to complete orders. I honestly can't wait to have it put on my car, and it looks so good with a CME.

sound clips?

I know the LM 1 sounds really good,but I've never heard the GMMG on a CME. by the way I've got Lts no cats through a Y.

Is this on stock manifolds or headers? The loudmouth sounds like a bag of *** under load with headers

I have had a lm1 on my car since it was stock,it sounded best when it was stock,with longtubes and a ory it did get pretty loud but I liked it loud,with the ms4 cam it got crazy loud,like open header loud,but every where I went someone said man that car sounds great,in the car you do get a lot of drone and its pretty raspy,I would say do a lm2 ,with a good merge on the y,and add cats,the cme imho smooths out a lot of the bad sound from a lm1 or 2,honest if you can find a lm catback and you don't like it you could run a borla xr1 muffler and it sounds pretty good from what I hear,I'm switching to tru duals under the axle with a cme,I think duals sound better than any cat back,the only thing I didn't like about the lm1 setup is I wish it was deeper,I liked the rasp and sound outside the car just didn't sound the best on the inside

I've heard with longtubes and ORY, the GMMG can be too loud for some peoples taste. A lot of people recommend having a catted Y if you have longtubes+GMMG. The GMMG was made for the LS1 and i believe if you buy it for an LT1, you have to buy LS1 mounting brackets or something like that.

I like the sound of LM1 and it was much cheaper than GMMG.

EDIT I got my LM1 slightly used for $130

I bought my GMMG for $250 in perfect shape used off an lt1, sounds awesome with headers not cats into an ORY.

Yes a gmmg is loud with longtubes and a off road y,but I don't see there beeing a louder exhaust than the lm1,the gmmg will be loud and sound better but I think if you go lm2,add cats,threw a cme you'll be happy,and even if you don't add cats if your looking for really loud lm1 or lm2 is a good choice,my car with the ms4 was crazy loud even for me and I'm all about loud,if I was gonna keep my lm1 instead of trading it I would for sure swap to a lm2 and add cats,imho the lm2 sounds a lot deeper than the lm1,I know with my setup if I punched it next to someone it scared the crap out of them,

And a gmmg for under 300 is a steal,that was a once in a life time deal to get one for 250 in new shape
