Default One Quick Question Concerning A Spoiler.

I bought an ultra z hood from a member on here, which is a trufiber hood.
I was gonna use a ls1 ss spoiler but my friends convinced me to go with the LT1 ss spoiler, which is also the same one on this camaro.
Now my question is where can I find a good LT1 ss spoiler. Ive searched and nothing seems to pop up.
Feedback is welcome. Thank you.

Right off I don't know of any company that sales the spoilers. I was gonna go that route but decided I'm just get an LS spoiler but I'm gonna have work done to it to "look" somewhat like a Z29R spoiler cause I've never seen one in person and, well, everyone has a SS LS style spoiler and I want something different.

They are hard to find. They were only on two model years. I had been looking for a few years and finally found one fairly close. I drove 6 hours round trip. No one is willing to ship it, so if you want one you have to decided how bad. I will install mine when I get the Sunoco hood. Not sure when that will be, but I have the spoiler when I'm ready. I had no luck finding anything close that I liked. I was going to get the 98 and up spoiler if I was unable to find one. Good luck with your search. They pop up on here more than any other place I was looking.

I bought mine from a friend about 3 years back that was OEM and put it on my Z28. I don't know of anyone other then SLP that made them. Like 99zee said, they are very rare compared to the LS1 and i get offers for mine all the time. If you find one for sale, JUMP ON IT! If I ever sold my Z28, i'd put my stocker back on and keep it. The price for demand is slowly rising on these.

Thanks guys.
Im either going between the LT spoiler, or the Mecham spoiler which is the z29r spoile.

It is not very impressive looking in person IMO. I think you're making a mistake, but to each his own. Keep an eye out on ebay.

How am I making a mistake?
Its something different. I wanted to do ss hood and spoiler, but everyone has that.
so I decided to go with a ultra z look, ultra z hood and either LT SS spoiler or mecham zr29.
but thanks for your input.

IMO it doesn't look as good as the LS1 SS spoiler and I don't understand being different just for the sake of being different. I think your original idea of getting the LS1 version would look better with your Ultra-Z hood, that's all. PLUS, it comes with the awesome LED brake light, so it will look better at night too. I didn't mean any disrespect. Like I mentioned, keep an eye on ebay. I see them on there from time to time. The Mecham spoiler looks good, but it won't fit as nice as an OEM LT spoiler.

does the ls1 ss rear hatch fit on lt1 cars?
i know the *** end on these cars is identical, but if i got an ss spoilder/ hatch from a 98+ ss, will it bold directly to my 95 z28?
i already have an ss hood on my car, and i'd like to wrap this car up.

Hey Brian, just take the LS1 spoiler you have (if you still have it) and have a shop (maybe the guy Mike went to) shave the pedestals.

Then you have the same thing as the Mecham but way cheaper.

You won't like the LT1 SS spoiler if you get it. It is just a Z28 spoiler with a different top skin (hence using the same brake light).

I think Im going with the mecham z29r spoiler over the LT1 spoiler.
Your right mark.

@LS1camaroguy87: Its cool man, no worries, no harm, but thank you for your feedback good sir.
