$680 Stg 2 T56 builds coming to an end (price-wise)!
This price is only going to be good until I run out of my current parts inventory. Tremec is continually raising prices, and when I re-stock, I'm going to have to finally raise my prices as well. Within the past 2 years, I've been able to keep the price the same since the increases have been minimal. But now its getting to the point that I'll be forced to go up.
I currently have enough parts to do 4-5 builds as the parts were purchased at the old prices last time I re-stocked. After this, the new pricing structure will go into effect.
The $680 build includes the following:
---> All blocker rings
---> All keys
---> All springs
---> All fork pads
---> Input & output seals
---> De-burring and polishing all synchro assemblies
---> Upgraded steel 3-4 shift fork
---> Upgraded billet 3-4 keys
---> Rebuild labor
On top of the $680, additional parts may be necessary. This is determined on a case-by-case basis upon teardown and inspection of the transmission. It's not un-common to need a new synchro assembly or a speed gear. Of course the final price can only be calculated after the teardown. GTO, Corvette and CTS-V T56 builds start at $850 due to the expensive triple cone blocker rings.

I was hoping to get my tranny done this winter, but I think I'm going to have to wait until next year. I'm planning on the stage 3 package that you offer though, but I'll see what happens.
But I'm just giving you a bump, and you have some amazing prices

For the most part, Tremec makes all the parts. I've seen the prices double within the last 6 years. Since the oil prices have gone way up, the steel prices did the same, and this caused everything thats made of steel to go up.

Tremec usually takes a price increase once every January. Some stuff takes very small increases and some stuff doubles or triples in price. A throw out bearing tube for the Ford T56 use to be about $30 cost. It jumped over 300% in one year to over $100 each. Hell I can get billet tubes for less than that.
There are bits and pieces available after market but for the most part, Tremec produces most of the replacement parts for the T56. Recently supply has been an issue since they are tooled up to build the TR6060 and Magnums. Their moving all operations to Mexico hasn't helped matters either.
