Default most bang for your buck?

I am new to ls1 pcm tuning. I went from my turbo Honda to my ss....I know right... what I am getting at is I had a the computer chipped with s300. Requires a laptop. I see people use handhelds and what not but is there not pcm program out there plug fire wire to and what not. I am just not really sure I want to do a hand help flash turner. Can someone just give me there own opinion about what pcm program or hand held they are running.

Thanks in advance

^^ i think what bayarea WS6 meant was hp tuners... theres also efi live, although i dont have experiance with either. I believe the general consensus with the handhelds is that they are good for only speedo calibrations...

Thanks battousai and ws6. I have LT ORY and a lid. Not a lot I know tax season is coming up and looking at ordering a tsp 228r and a ls6 intake. I know I will have to do some tuning. I am just not sure what tuned product would be best.

Tuning software narrows down to a choice between EFILive and HPTuners.

Goto each site and download/install the software and play with it to see which you like.
