Harmonic Damper ARP Bolt?

Default Harmonic Damper ARP Bolt?
I have the torque information if you use the GM torque to yield bolt for the harmonic balancer install, but I'm going to use the high price ARP bolt. What's the torque setting and procedure for the ARP bolt?

Drive it on with a 1/2" air impact gun and your good to go! You won't have any issues.

Using ARP Lube, I used 190 lb-ft but they may have since changed this value. Call ARP for the latest information.

With a Fastener Tensile Strength of 190,000/200,000 PSI, and a Fastener Diameter of 16mm ,ARP lists it at 244 lb.ft., w/ARP lube.

All you need is an 8 foot breaker bar to tq it to spec

I just make sure the front of the car is high enough so the TW handle doesn't hit the driveway, then I just use my legs for additional leverage. IMO, it's not very hard with a 2ft long Torque wrench.

Borrow a 600 ft/lb, 3/4" torque wrench and call it a day!

It can be done by lots of methods, but the easiest is usually the best. Pulling this wrench to 240# is like arm wrestling a 6 year old!

Use that daily, to torque a Boeing 747 axle nut to 450 ft lb. And you thought 250ft lbs was alot. Can say it dose make things a bit easier for a balancer bolt.
