Default Finally got the motor apart :/

Knew i had a turned lifter, and THOUGHT that just the pin had slid out so that i couldnt get it out. Got everything out of the way, dropped the lifter out the bottom and found this tonight :/




Let the cleaning/rebuild process begin

Nice! Did you atleast find the rest of it? I should have some pics of my dropped valve spring up soon, so your not the only one havin all the fun right now.

I found all of the lifter body, but have yet to find the roller lol

Im sure when you vat the block that will clear it out.

that really sucks But there is no better way to start on a bigger better build

Get the block checked, you may be suprised that it survived. IF it did you could with the proper internals make a 383 on the cheap.

im starting to tear the bottom end out tomorrow. Well see what mysteries that is hiding lol

i would rather spend the 2K on a set of bad *** heads to go with my new trex. but the added cubes is appealing.
