You have to replace the pistons with larger ones. Obviously you put new correct size rings and that is all that has to be replaced.

Why are you wanting to bore the motor? Generally just boring 30 over is a waist. If you need to because of scratches in the cylinder walls that is one thing but just a 30 over isn't going to make you much in power gains.

What is you goal or reasoning for the question and maybe we can help steer you in a better direction.

Bored out to .025 over, then honed to final size with different stones. Put the new pieces in... In short that's close.

You should have it line honed to make sure everything is straight. Decking isn't needed unless you are trying to raise compression or had a warped deck.

you only have to deck it if you can see or know of deformities. I didn't get mine decked. Went with Mahle .008 over. Line honing the cam bores isn't absolutely necessary. I didn't get that either. Other people will say otherwise. Be sure to bring your new pistons to the machine shop. Hope I was able to help.

Default my engine machine work

I just had the block cleaned up and honed/bored .008 over with Mahle power pack forged pistons. The deck looks bad but is smooth to the touch.
