My buddy took his out when it was cracked and fiberglassed the cracks and then bondo'd the rough spots and painted it. Came out real nice. Much better than spending bookoo denero on a new dash

When my dash cracked on my 94 Z28 I brought a 99 Z28 dash and the window plastic as well as a 97 Z28 gauge cluster and pigtail and I'm going to swap it all in to the 94. I just like the looks of the 97 - up dash better than the 93 - 96 dash anyway.

you could always have someone do a custom carbon fiber cover it could mount right over it... I found a guy by me that is going to do a t-top headliner for me for $250-300 it would be unique that's for sure.
