Default Need help w/ fuel pump wiring

I am swapping a 99 T/A harness into a 95 T/A and I'm looking for some help figuring out which wires get used to hook 99 harness up to 95 fuel pump?

Gray wire is fuel pump power
Black is ground to fuel pump
Purple is fuel level gauge
Black with white stripe is ground to fuel level gauge

Both years should be the same color wires. where you run into trouble is the fuel level sender. The early ones are 0 - 90 ohm's. The late senders are 40 - 250 ohms.

Actually the 95 is a 3 wire system. There is no redundant fuel level ground wire.

So does this mean I can't make it work or it will still work w/out the redundant ground?

If you know how all the wires from the 99 harness work which should goto the 95 fuel pump and sending unit?

ok the fuel pump works but the gauge does not from the diagrams i've looked at it seems the 95 sending unit uses resistance to move the gauge and the 99 uses voltage to send the gauge signal.

Anbody know if there is a way to make this work I am using the 99 gauge cluster but i'm assuming I will need an LS1 gas tank and sender is this correct?

You cannot easily change the level sensr in a 95 tank, so you will need to fabricate a new sensor mount & rewire, or swap in the 99 tank.
