Default Guy I know who says a factory 5.0 motor can support 1200 hp and run 9's in the 1/4

Any thoughts? Even though I pretty much know where the opinions are going to fly.

Stock bottom end has done 800hp, there is no way in hell it will do 1200+.

Stock bottom end has gone 9.90's. Direct port n2o, C4 trans swap, etc.

As far as doing 9's on motor, it's gonna have to be a pretty nice stroker motor with heads, cams, weight dropped, etc.

What's up Manny. 4 cyld engines cannot do it without being engineered.

Clarity: The guy is talking about the new 5.0 "Modular" engine without any supporting re-enforcement at all. In other words you just bolt on all of the supercharging/Nitrous or whatever and the block will just take it. Notice how he did not clarify that in the post because he knows better. Also he says the engine could do it N/A which was what the whole debate was all about.
