Default LS2's Dont like to drink water.

Just a vid of a friends engine, twin turbo drove through a massive puddle after some heavy downpour.

New 6.0L block and 408 stroker in the works now.

I sucked up water in my original LS1 and messed her up real good. Hence the reason I have a 402ci motor now I had the lower SSRA intake setup which I dont recommend.

It's a low mount twin turbo kit. Turbos sit next to the sump and air filters are behind the foglights. It's a ve clubsport/g8. We had a sticker warning him but ohwell

Ahhhh! That's horrible. I'd be so pissed. Good excuse for a new build though.

Let's see, turbos and manifolds where full, sump was full and fmic had about 3 liters in it. I'd say it was on boost when it went through the puddle.

Compressing water doesn't work too well and something will give.

Funny thing it didn't break compressing it. Possibly due to the 317 heads and cometic headgaskets. It actually caused a suction lock and the rod tore itself away from the piston coming down. The gudgeon pin was found nestling on the kframe

C'mon be honest, it wasn't a puddle. More like a small pond to suck up water and do that damage

****, that's what I was going to say! "Hey guys, I got a good short-cut but I think it has a small puddle they call a lake... We're good tho..."

This time, I bet the filter is going up nice and high in a sealed box.

Yeah I already made ducting from the grill to the filters and boxed it all of underneath. All in all good excuse for a stroker and high flow the turbos
