Default what cam?

not for me right now but one of my buddies. he just got a single cab short bed silverado and wants to do a decent size cam but not too big where he has to replace the torque converter. i told him maybe like a 224r or 228r.

what would you guys suggest?

How about a 227(.614")/227(.614") 111lsa, w/ Comp LSL lobes.

My bad, I just just noticed he doesn't want to go with a high stall.
Try a 215(.604")/219(.607") 114lsa w/LSL lobes.

wow i didnt know you were a cam grinder! why on a 112+4 ? please enlighten me!, having it on a 108 intake centerline sounds great for a stock converter!!

let me see here...

you post up to have Frost mail order tune cars...
you also post to have EPS spec your cams..

i have personally seen both of their work and its good... but i have actually "seen" the work.

but here is my question to you actually have any of those mods done to your car or any personal hands on experience? or are you just regurgitating forum info that you really have no real knowledge of??

I know this isnt professional, but i just like to call it like i see it

Ok i misread the part where he said sock converter i thought he said bigger converter, thats my bad.

There is no need to jump down my throat and get all high and mighty. Im just trying to throw an opinion out there if you disagree go ahead and go ahead and do so. The personal attacks are not needed here man were all trying to have a good time and help each other out.

Have a nice day hope your shop continues to have success.
