Those are some really coarse CNC tracks, especially the chamber. Impressive that they flow so well in spite of this. Nice to see they don't back up above .700". Are these GM castings that have been CNC'd or all new castings?

Awesome numbers. I have been intrigued by these. The Airwolf LS3s performed well in the Hotrod cylinder head shootout. I like the fact that these come standard with the hollow valves and beefy springs with ti retainers.

Patrick the cnc tracks are as no a coarse as they appear. they are the same depth and step over as a AFR competition port.

Bryce

The heads look good but AFR's have much finer CNC profiling in the chamber....and there is alot of tricks to be had with the proper toolpath creation as well as certain software programs....some are better than others.

This is not a hand finished piece....

This happens to be one of our 23' Chevy heads but an LS chamber looks no different.

Your can hate on the casting all you want...but the castings are just as nice as any USA foundry would produce and they come with a lifetime warranty. We try to use the best qualtiy parts like REV 8mm hollow stem Stainless Valves, 2.20 intake and 1.60 exhaust, Hyd Roller dual 1.29 dia spring 165 lbs on the seat 425 lbs open, Titanium Retainers, Machined Locks, Locators, and Viton Seals.

These heads have alot of amercain engineering in them. all of the port devlopment on this casting was done by amercains. they are CNC ported finish machined and asssebled all by American's.

All of you banter is just hypocritical....for some reason buying a offshore performace cylinder head casting is a horible thing to do as an american....but you can type about it on your chinese computer.........I'm just saying

I don't have a choice on my computer, I do have a choice on cylinder heads.
Apparently you never got to see the first offerings by ProComp, the Gen 1 SBC and BBC stuff. They kinda resembled cylinder heads in that they had ports and chambers, but design was a nightmare. Porous as Swiss cheese, the big block heads weighed 7 - 8 lbs less than comparable US made offerings. They're lighter because it takes less aluminum (cost savings) and shipping is less (cost savings). What makes you think the aluminum is anywhere near the quality and purity of domestic castings? I've known more than one racer who bought ProComp castings and ended up spending more to get everything in spec than they would have if they'd bought the good stuff from the start and still didn't have a head that would make as much power.
Harbor Freight import Chinese crap. You can US design and machine it all you want, but you still have a Chinese ProComp casting core.
