408 build info ??
I'm in the process of gathering parts for my LQ9 block,crank was bad, bought a eagle 4" stroke crank, now hear is the ???"s it is for a street Pro-touring car that is being built,, Will see no track time because of insurance details,,Yes it will be street raced ???? I want to drive it like I stole it !!!What would be the best combination on pistons, heads intake cam ,, Yes it is a BUDGIT build !! I don't have deep pockets but would like for it to SCREAM !! and sound as bad as it looked,, 1966 Nova, 9" rear, 6spd, 21/2" stainless dual exhast-x-pipe,,, would like to knock on 500rwhp if possible ??

Already have the crank on hand,, open for options ??? Bang for buck !!! Not everyone drag races their cars,justbecause it has an LS engine,,I'm sure there are options on a decent 408 combo, maybe I'm not realestic in my HP hopes,, I've ran lq9's bottom end in my last 2 pro-touring cars,, with ls6 intakes ,fast tb, injectors, TS cam, Patriot springs , head work done,, Where am I going wrong on $$$$ 's ??

Thanks Danny for input, Anyone running this combo ?? Surely ?? What HP #'s would be realistic ?? What intake ??- Fast ?? Sure would like some pointers and ##'s !! Why is this no-man's land ??

Now have the heads!!!,+30 cc , diamond pistons and the L92 heads,,any guidance on cam ?? Diamond pistons said ,,get a custom grind !! what would be a guess on specs or who to spec cam ??
