Whats the volume of that dish? I heard Mahles really suck and that they give most customers dimensia. You should box the thing up and ship it to me for evaluation.

Ive yet to hear a bad eperience with a mahle pistons when its used in it's propper aplication, they are well made and usual have some coating on the skirt , yours appear to have a crown coating on it as well. I would assume that the dish is from -12 to -16 , My motor (a 383 as well) has -12 cc , but mine are Speed Pro LW with a coated skirt.

Mahles are pretty pricey but they are well worth it.

Don't know why some people complain about Mahle. EVERY SINGLE LT1 owner has used them at some point.

I'm running Mahle flatop forged coated powerpack pistons in my 385. Love them. Car is 12.3 to 1 and loves nitrous. No problems with them at all. They came highly recommended.

That's what I was thinking. I have a 14cc dish that looks to be about the same.
