Polluter Cam results...generous cam or generous dyno?
Finally got around to doing a few dyno pulls at Thunder Racing and was really hoping to hit 450hp, ended up with 475hp/402tq instead! I know the car feels strong on the street, but wasn't expecting this. The guys at Thunder were amazed too. They said it's a Mustang dyno but setup like a DynoJet. I'm still scratching my head and not sure if I can trust the numbers.

The dyno seems generous. That's one of the problems with making a Mustang read like a DJ. The operator can put in any factor they want. Hell, even DJ's don't read the same from one dyno to another. Way too often, dyno's are used as marketing tools and not tuning tools.
That being said..congrats, I'm sure it's a runner.

never had mine on the dyno, but on 75 shot it runs 10.46 with this cam. and not a fluke either as i have multiple 10.4 passes on this cam. been running it since it first came out. granted does sound a little generous but like everyone stated take it to track and find out.

With your mods that # isn't too far off. Any big XE-R camshaft in the high 230s/low 240's duration is going to make big dyno power with a decent set of heads and good intake opening.
Take it to the track and see how she run's. The TQ curve looks good from what I can vaguely tell by your dinky dyno attachment so it should run decent.

This was a SUPER clean car! One of the nicest I've seen in quite some time.
As for our dyno reading high... it consistently reads right in line with the other dyno's in the area
