Default New fast 102 and ported head Alignment way off

Okay so I Milled my LS6 heads 50 tho. and they were milled 20 tho before. heads are ported and look's like the floor of the heads has been opened up.

I am looking into way's that you guys may know of to get the intake to be more flush with the heads. I just had the inake milled on the under side and the gasket face 75tho to see if that will help instead of the head because the intake base is not to bad on price if i mess up.

here are some pic's of the problem i have. but i may have it fixed going to check it tonight after work with it milled..

Rob

lets hear what you have to say

Who ported the heads? That one port you showed of the head itself looked like they took a lot off the left top. Looks crooked, but I'm not a porter so there may be a reason for this. Is your 102 ported? If not that can be a big reason. Porting not only opens up the intake but also smooths everything out as well as port matches it to the head.

PM TonyMamo@AFR and run it by him, or simply summon him To the thread and see what he says.

wrong forum...yellowbullet...and not many go through the steps to make it right...so you will get crickets...

the heads are milled alot and the ports are opened up a ton...so a double negative for port alignment...

mill it a hair more, let me work some magic on porting this intake to match better and then recess cut the 8 port gaskets so you can run the standard size...or just wack the gaskets inhalf so they are the proper thickness...

there is no magic cure, just time and hard work for those last few hp...

I had to port my heads for the injectors to match up. Had about half of the injector hole space taken up by the heads....
