I want to try and stick with all GM stuff since I Want to use the computer from a 2003 Z06 for this application..is there any way to lower compression to 9.5:1 or 9.3:1 with other mods on this car with just the LS6 heads cam and intake...what do LS6 guys do for twin turbo??

Also the car will not be forced induction from the start it will be all motor for about 6-8 months that's why I want to stick with the LS6 stuff so its beneficial for me now and when I go twin turbo...Couldn't I just change pistons or something to see lower compression...or get non -ported LS6 heads..please any info is greatly appreciated..I'm lost on what to do!!

Thanks again,
Ralph

You can IMO inefficiently lower the compression by getting a lower compression piston, or you can get a set of 6.0 heads that have 70cc combustion chambers. Stock LS6 heads are 64cc's.

Would the LS6 Cam and intake work well with regular (non ported) 6.0l heads and will the computer from an 03 Z06 be able to be used or will I need custom tuning?

Thanks again!

What if I used the LS6 heads cam and intake with Diamond Pistons designed to make 9.5:1 compression with a 64cc combustion chamber..would that work well?

If they havent been shaved it will put u at 10.80:1 but for the price u can get absolute speed stage two heads and a used tr224 cam and make alot more power jmo.
