I put the yank stall in the trans yesterday! I should be able to bolt everything back up today. What bolts should I use? I have the stock flexplate. I know I'm going to have to shim it to. The gap is to much between the stall and flexplate. Also, when I put the stall in, I didn't hear any clicks. More like a clunk sound as it went in.

Mine came with the bolts and I bolted mine up to my stock flex plate with out shims. And spin the converter and push at the same time.

I need to shim mine. The gap is just to much. I did push and spin. I measured the tc pads to the bellhouse. That came out perfect. But didn't hear a click. I could feel it go in 3 times though.

I used the yank bolts they sent but I used ls3 flexplate. Same thing though.

Make sure you get a good idea of the gap you have. Dont guess. Use drill bits they work great. Theres pics in my ss3600 thread if you wanna look.

I went and got graded bolts that were longer and then dremeled them to the exact length i need.

I used a 3/16 drill bit and talked with Dave at yank. It's all good! I ended up putting masking tape on the washer to hold them in. Worked great. Took the car for a ride and I can tell how much fun this car is going to be. Drove slow and never went over 3000 rpm's. Checked all the fluids. Everything looks good so far. No leaks either. Thanks guys for all the info tips, ect......
