We have been out of 7/8" bore cylinders for a few weeks now. We have been subsituting 13/16" bore cylinders for those who can't wait for the 7/8" to be back in stock. We have now purchased all of the 13/16" cylinders we can find....literally going down the list of vendors on Tiltons website. I'm not sure if we have any of the 13/16" cylinders left at this point, but if we do its only a few.
Our next step may be to use a Wilwood cylinder temporarily. This would require a few slight modifications to our kit. Otherwise, we will sell just the hardware our kit uses if you can source your own tilton cylinder. We will sell the kit this way for $80 less than regular price. This will only last until we're back in stock with cylinders, and obviously we wouldn't warranty the tilton cylinder if you purchase your own. We would still warranty any part of the kit otherwise.
And Charlie, I probably still have a returned cylinder or two that doesn't have any issues if you need one in a pinch. We get new cylinders sent back from time to time with nothing wrong with them....the installers obviously just couldn't bleed them properly. We send them new cylinders regardless.
