Yep and also log idle kpa with your stock 1 bar MAP to see what kpa you are at before swapping. This way you can adjust the offsets on your new 2 bar to exactly match what your stock MAP read.

The stock 1 bar sensor reads 15.23psi (5volt limit) ... remember sea level 101.3kpa is 14.69psi... so yea, i guess 0.5 psi... is the stock limit... I know Zero FI cars aiming for .5 pounds of boost, so you need a 2 bar sensor. 2.5 or 3.
As raven154 mentioned as well, you need to load a new OS to read the 210kpa limit.
You loose resolution with the Cts-v ECM... going to the 2bar OS. (you have to remember you are now using 10kpa cell jumps, rather than 5.

You mean, ANY BOOST! (not what you said saying beyond a certain PSI that you need a 2bar sensor.. ANY Boost, you need a 2 bar sensor pending your boost levels, end of story.

So my statement is correct in general terms .
Anyways . . . good info for all .

I have a couple PCM with various tunes for my FI V. One uses a 2 bar MAP from a Cobalt sensor with one side bracket ground off. I can swap PCM easily and just have to be sure the right MAP sensor is in. And retrain the CKP.
