First race in a long time
Going to work I decided to stop by Advanced Auto to get a bottle of Armorall wheel protectant (been wanting to try it) and a bottle of Meguiars 26 liquid wax (BEST wax out there IMO). Anyways leaving and on the way to work I see a 91-94 Porsche behind me. We are both turning left so I'm wondering if he would try anything. As we turn he sure does! I'm looking in my side mirror watching him and I notice it has a whale tail on it. He floors it as we turn and his car sticks like glue. I go from 3rd gear down into 2nd gear and punch it. I stop his pull fast and slam 3rd gear and the Mach kicks completely sideways on me. It gains traction after a second and I hold out 3rd gear a while and I look back and I had put around 3-4 carlengths on him. I hit the brakes and he comes by and gives me a thumbs up. I'm not too familiar with older Porsches but it was low, black, and had a whale tail.

You sure it was a 964 (89-94) and not an earlier model? Not that it matters; they all offered a whale tail like spoiler I believe. The best way to tell if it was a turbo is if it has flared wheel arches, they almost always indicate a turbo variant 911 and they're pretty obvious at first glance. If it was a turbo, it would have likely been much closer. Nice kill either way.
Here's a comparison, the turbo styling is pretty obvious.

But yeah, the 911's just don't look right without flared arches, regardless of the generation.
