Flat black engine bay
Im pulling the motor out of my pewter SS tomorrow and i wanna do some cleaning up in the like the wire mod and I was thinking about repainting the bay flat black. Has anyone ever done this? How do you guys think this would look? Or would you just respray it pewter? All suggestions welcome along with anything else you can think of the might make the bay look a little cleaner.

"They way it was explained to me by a paint chemist was that Flat was the lowest, then Matte gloss was little higher, then Satin was next highest, then Semi-Gloss, the something called reduced sheen, then the highest or full gloss."
