i hope your getting a sweet deal on the FAST 90/90. otherwise i would hold out for a 92 or save up for the 102. regardless the HP has been posted. 1/4 is dependent on your driving skills but maybe .1-.2

What would be a good deal on a fast 90 and throttle body? And as far as driving the car goes I drove bone stock on 245 tires to a 13.5@103 and it's an auto so I do drive to it's full pontential. I would be very very happy if I gained more tha 1 tenth with it.

You should gain at least 1 tenth no problem.

I just did a back to back dyno from a ported ls6 to a ported Fast 90 and picked up 13rwhp and 10 rwtq after retune. There was places in the graph where it picked up 14-15 and it carried the power longer. Was a definite difference from the sotp too.

I have'nt ran it yet. I just swapped them on thursday. Car is lighter than the last time I ran it and I did a couple areo mods so it won't be just the intake for track times.

Typically you get - .1 per 10hp gained. Sotp is pretty good for the fast 90, I guess because it picked up in the whole rpm range. Pop the screen out of your mass air if you have'nt done it. That will get you .1

Doesnt popping the maf screen out mess up the drivability on autos? I was contemplating porting my maf, but not sure because of the screen problems.

Yep, the purpose of the screen is eliminate/reduce turbulence in the air stream to make the MAF more accurate. In many cases you will get an instant check engine light when the screen is removed.

I do not know about the current LSX version. The only Granatelli MAF I have ever tried was for a small block Chevy and I returned it because it would not stopping causing codes- and I do not recall whether if it had a screen or not.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but why spend the money on the Fast intake for .20 sec. when you can do a nitrous kit for the same price & pick up over a second with a safe 125hp shot? Or go with gears for a lot cheaper & pick up .30-.40 sec? Plus the gears make it a lot funner to drive!
The Fast is a great product, but I've got a TPIS modified LS6 intake with a 90mm. throttle body & am making over 480whp with a stock bottom end. The intake mod only cost me $350 & my buddy gave me the 90mm. LS2 throttle body he had for his car that he totaled. I picked up 11whp over the stock LS6 intake & 78mm throttle body with the mod. If you already have a LS6 intake, it is an option you may want to consider. There are many great threads on here that go over this topic. Research it & make the decision that is best for you. Good luck!

Thanks for trying to help, but problems with nitrous are

1. It will cost more than the fast 90/90 im getting.

2. I will have to refill it every 10 passes wich is like $50. So it's really not cheapper.. It's pretty exspensive..

3. It is much harder on the car and if something goes wrong can cause big failures.

4. I am wanting to get into 11's bolt-on only..

If I would get 2 tenths from the fast 90 I would be very happy and I really like the looks of the fast intakes

I've never seen poppong out the screen do anything but help, some cammed cars like the screen in it. But I think that has more to do with reversion.
I had a granitelli on my car and loved it, car seemed more responsive but i hhad to put a slp 85mm on with the fast 90.

Z99, I had a friend run 11.8 with decent mph (116 I think) with a bolt-on auto. He had a 4400 yank I think and kooks headers w/ory (same ones on my car), drag wheels, 3.73's, underdrive pulley and a little weight reduction should get you there.
