60+ mph shake
Steering wheel vibration @ highway speeds has plagued my car for over a year now. I have done outer tie rods, new wheels, and new rotors + pads. The only things I can think of would be inner tie rods, ball joints, bad front tires (hard to prove), or a bad alignment. All my suspension bushings are also poly, could that be a possible suspect? Any input on this subject would be much appreciated. Inner tie rods and ball joints are factory as far as I know and I'm @ 142k now.
Also, put my new slotted rotors on from brakemotive yesterday and stopping below 30 I get a vibration. Is that from the slotted rotors at a lower speed? Have never driven a car with anything but blanks til now.

If you're getting a vibration while stopping the discs are warped/uneven. This can cause vibrations at speed as well even without applying the brakes.
Wheel balance, ball joints, almost anything worn in the front suspension can create a vibration especially worn tires.

The vibration is only at speeds below 30 mph, it kinda feels like I can feel every time the slots hit the brake pads, at highway speeds it brakes without any vibration. The whole reason I got new brakes was because my stockers would vibrate at any speed while braking.

Well I am reviving my old thread because I have now replaced my wheels, tires (NT555 put on today!!), u joints, brakes, and tie rods. The shake went way down with the new tires on, but I'm thinking it has to be the hubs, easy job right?

If your issue is due to an unsprung vibration, I'd go for the rotors first. (Maybe one of the balancing weights has come off, etc.) Have you tried moving the rotors around or replacing them?

Yeah, figured as much, they aren't making any noise(screeching), but they are still old, could factory ball joints be part of the problem as well? Also, does anyone have a good suggestion for new hubs? Delcos at 260/per hub is kinda crazy....
