Default Trans Am vs Turbo Mustang

Not to sure on details on the Mustang other than it was on 6 lbs tonight. Trans Am is cammed, bolt ons and 4.11 gears. The videos are not the greatest quality so suck it.

2 things could happen here...1 people will say the LS1 MUST have had a small cam in it such as a stock LS6 cam or the sort, no way a real cammed LS1 could lose...OOOORR...2 they will just ignore this in hopes that a loss to a 2v will get swept under the rug.

The car has a Trex cam so they better get to ignoring it. Mustang made 475 on 9 lbs so its no slouch.

nah....a ls6 cam would do better than that . I do think there is more to the story. 6lb on a 2v would be lucky to get to a high 12, mid 12 at best.

Don't know many details but the owner said 475 on 9lbs and that he was running on 6lbs. I don't know what else was done to it or what kind of power it was making. As you can tell the thing was nasty on the top end.

Do you know what kind of supercharger was on it? Cause I raced a guy that had a 04 GT with the boltons and a vortech @ 14lbs and it only made 400rwhp. For that stang to be 475 on 9lbs there is alot more to this car than meets the eye. I will say this for that Stang to beat the LS1 that is a very respectable machine nice death OP.

The driver was a very cool dude. He was humble about other cars, especially LS1s, something that is hard to find in a lot of mustang guys I've came across. I was with OP and the mustang moved out pretty good. I've definitely got respect for that car.

There are a lot of 2v turboed cars making more that 450 on 7,8,9 lbs of boost depends on bolt-ons and mods. I was going to turbo my GT when I had it with the on3prefprmance turbo kit and run 6psi witch is good for 430 whp or so with my bolt-ons. The top end on a turboed mustang is crazy. I road in a turboed 3v making 419 on psi and it out pulled a bolt-on 385 whp c5 z06 top end.

Ya I have a guy here that has same set up but he is pushing around 13psi and has cams and made like 420whp. I still walked him pretty hard. I would have thought the cammed LS1 would have took the mustang on 6psi.

Mustang have cams/heads? It hs some other stuff for sure.

Nice death.. Time for some spray...haha

LS6 cam would have made it lose by 7 carlengths instead of 2

Are you 100% serious most of the time? I swear I never can understand how big of an idiot and or ignorant you are. But one thing is for sure, I'm used to it!

The car has a bottle in it already. Just had a few little issues with the kit so no bottle till next weekend. I love how many people are saying I should have taken him without having any idea of his supporting mods or what size turbo. Ls1tech is always good for some laughs.
