Strano springs camaro, 20" wheels 20+mm offset, WHAT TIRES?
I have some 20x9.5 wheels I'm looking to buy tires for. The tires are expensive so I want to be sure they will work. I have been using a wheel/tire calculator, but I'm still unsure.
I'm thinking 295/25/20 REAR and 245/30/20 FRONT.
Anyone know if that will fit without rubbing. The wheels have a 20+mm offset, and I plan on lowering it on strano springs. I will not be using spacers.

I knew someone would say this...and normally I am opposed to anything over 18s. BUT I have something different in mind. 20s can look good on a 4th gen if done correctly. Check out the LMR/ Kelly Bise Camaro

01Blk*SS* has a similar look with 19s. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...t-arrived.html
He is lowered on a koni/strano setup with big wheels and a narrowed rear.

I want to see this. Let me know when you get them on. What tires are you going to run?

Second why would you run a 245 tire on a 9.5" wheel? Thats going to be stretched and look like crap.
Also (for looks) I would seriously consider running a wider rear wheel if you are going to go with 20s. The taller you go the more narrow the wheel looks in proportion.

^^^^THIS^^^^. Couldnt have said it better myself. Speaking from experience, I would def recommend at least a 275 wide tire for the front on 9.5" wide rims. Hell i have 285's on my front 9.5 inchers and it looks great. But as a side note, i had 245's on my last set of rims that were only 8.5" wide. Even they looked too stretched IMO, and those were on narrower wheels. Just tryin to help.

The only reason I wanted to do this is because I have 20s from an BMW laying around. I didn't think about the tire being streched, plus it looks like it will be cheaper and safer just to buy a wheel/tire package off the internet. Thanks for the advise and insight guys.

Well here are some pics from a month or so ago with 245/40/20 tires. The wheel lips seem to be right at the fenders and quarter panels which is the look I'm going for when it's lowered. The fronts could tuck in a bit more. I am going to go a different route though since I'm not crazy about these wheels, and it's just too expensive of a risk to buy tires for them if they will rub or stick out.
I put these on like this just to see if they would fit and took them immediately back off

haha. I think they'll look good black. I really just bought them too sell them, but I figured if the fit, why not not put them on for a little while. Idk about you, but seeing the same old five spoke wheel combo on f-bodys really gets old to me.
