Guy at work w/2012' 5.0 3.73M challenging me Funny experience. I am a school teacher- 4th grade. New tech guy was bragging about his new stang. District handyman mentioned to him, that I have a Z. All week his tech dept. buddies have been telling me how "red october" wants to race me- He is from the Russian city where subs are based, so we call him Red October. Anyhow..... I want to calculate the odds of victory or defeat. What do you think? I am game, but I hear the new 5.0s are pretty quick.

Being he is stock. And unless he has a blower installed from the dealer you have more power. And you are lighter. By how much depends on what trim level he has.
I would run him from a dig first. FActory tires suck on the mustangs. Skinny and slick as ****. He will blow them off. Then when he loses let him try to make it up with a roll race. Again he will still lose and most likely spin again cause he will have TC off. If he leaves it on. The TC will cut the throttle once it spins a little and you still win.

you win, you know i never get these threads, i could see if money was on the line, but someone ask me to run i dont care if i win or get killed,if you take a L well more mods and a rematch, if you win, well all the work you have done so far has paid off, good luck man

im going to say he is one of those guys that thinks because his car is newer its faster, i ran one of those guys the other day,after the run we came up to the light and he looked over with this shocked look on his face ,like he was so upset his brand new ss got spanked that bad,

Had a women race me one time. SHe then rolled her window down and got an attitude. Like why you think your car fast. I was like i just put 3 cars on you from 20-80. Really. She was like well I mine looks better and cost more. I was like ok you think looks better., And the orange with white strips looks like ****. And you paid what 38k for it. WOW..I am impressed. YOu got 36k worth of slow ****. Two days later she was at the dealer talk how she got beat by a G8 and wanted her car faster, My wife busted out laughing when she described the G8. She knew it was me.(wife works at the dealer) Women asked what was funny. She simply replied yep that is the fire breathing G8 my husband drives. You will need a blower. And a big one. Wife's boss was liek oh you tried racing Brad. We have had vettes come in and ask if we knew this G8 after he beat them. SO don't feel bad. She got pissed walked out. Seen same women with husband in my mustang. They asked if it was fast. I simply replied faster then my old G8. Women got a dirty look on her face as she knew what I was defiantly talking about.

I love new 5th Gen owners. They are the best. I used to crush them with the G8. Which really was better then doing it with the mustang. Mainly cause it was a 4dr car..haha
